Quick answers to common questions
Tap the + button and enter your systolic, diastolic, and pulse values, along with the time and any symptoms or notes. Manual entry is free, always. With CuffLog Premium you can instead point the camera at your monitor's display and let CuffLog fill in the numbers for you.
The camera scan is part of CuffLog Premium. Point your camera at your monitor's display (or pick a photo from your library). CuffLog sends that image over an encrypted connection to a secure proxy that reads the numbers using optical character recognition, then returns them for you to confirm before saving on your device. The photo is read on the fly and is never stored on a server. See the Privacy Policy for the full data flow.
CuffLog is free to download. Logging readings by hand, your full history, your week and month averages, target ranges and reminders are all free, with no time limit. CuffLog Premium is an optional monthly or yearly subscription that unlocks the camera scan, Trends charts over time, and the GP report and data export (PDF / CSV). The current price for your country is shown on the App Store and in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple ID, and they renew automatically until cancelled. To cancel, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone and turn off auto-renew — you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Because Apple is the seller, refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is not working, email us first and we will try to fix it.
All your readings and symptoms are stored locally on your device. There is no account, and CuffLog does not sync your health data to any server. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all your data.
No — the scan feature is optional. You can decline camera and photo permissions and enter every reading by hand. Change permissions any time in iOS Settings > CuffLog.
Delete individual readings from within the app, or uninstall CuffLog to permanently remove all locally stored data.
No. CuffLog is a logging and tracking tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. The scan feature can occasionally misread a display, so always confirm a saved reading matches your monitor, and consult your healthcare provider about your blood pressure.
